About Guilherme Jorge

Guilherme Jorge started riding at age 10 at Sociedade Hipica de Campinas, at his hometown in Brazil. He rode up to Juniors (1.40m) and his love of horses led him to Veterinary school, graduating in 1990 and opening a practice with sport horses. But the passion for Show Jumping slowly steered him into Course Designing, where he could still be close to horses but participate even more actively in the sport. Since 2014 he has lived in Wellington FL.

Having started designing courses professionally in 1992, Guilherme has designed courses in more than 20 countries all over the World. He officiated at six Olympic Games (Head Course Designer in RIO2016 and the Jumping Technical Delegate for PARIS2024), eight Panamerican Games (Head Course Designer in RIO2007 and LIMA2019) and ten FEI World Cup Finals (Head Course Designer in Las Vegas 2005 and 2007) .

Guilherme has been the Course Designer of the CSI Kentucky International since its inception in 2018.
