Katie is originally from Nashville, Tennessee, and moved to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky, where she graduated with a BA in Marketing and an Animal Sciences minor. After deciding to stay in Kentucky following graduation, she spent time working for Team Clear Equestrian and the United States Equestrian Federation. Katie also worked as the Ticketing Assistant at EEI in the spring of 2025 before joining the team full-time as the Sponsorship and Guest Experience Coordinator in February 2026. 

Katie has been involved with horses and the sport of eventing from a young age, growing up taking lessons and participating in Pony Club. She is an active member of the eventing community and enjoys training and competing with her horse, Mac.
