Hospitality Tents at the Kentucky Three-Day Event

While grounds admission and stadium seats are popular ways to see the show, that is only the start of our options. Hospitality tents at the Kentucky Three-Day Event can offer an enhanced experience. Depending on which hospitality option you choose, there are a variety of benefits and varied experiences to be had. Let’s talk about hospitality options at LRK3DE to better understand what may make sense for you when you come to the show!

The Kentucky Club

Our Cross-Country day hospitality club is an excellent way to enjoy Saturday’s competition without having to worry about the weather, what to bring to the tailgate, or where the best spots are.

A spectacular hospitality tent with outstanding views of the Cross-Country course, it’s also a great location with access to the rest of the course should you choose to go for a walk and see all the jumps. No need to worry about rain – the Kentucky Club has you covered, literally, including two 50-inch closed circuit monitors showing the Cross-Country action so you don’t have to leave your seat. What about food and beverages? We’ve got that too with a lunch buffet, bar and beverage service, and an outdoor fenced-in patio area so you can enjoy the sun when it’s shining.

Tickets for the Kentucky Club are $265 for those under 21 and $315 for 21 and over. Children under the age of 2 get in free with a paid adult.  Hurry though, these advanced pricing options are only good through March 3, 2023!

The Lakeside Club

Looking for more than just a one-day hospitality option?

The Lakeside Club offers incredible viewing of the competition.

The Lakeside Club heightens your Kentucky Three-Day experience with comfortable, relaxed viewing from a private ringside tent with incredible views of Dressage and Stadium Jumping. Daily lunch buffet, bar and beverage service, and closed-circuit monitors showing all the Kentucky Three-Day Event action are just a few of the perks. You also receive preferred parking, an event program, access to the International Trade Fair, Sponsor Village, and the Kentucky Horse Park.

Choose from 3-day tickets for access Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, or 4-day tickets to add Thursday as well.

Want more options? Add access to the Kentucky Club for Saturday if you prefer to be out on the course. Stay in the ringside tent for the Grand Prix Friday and Saturday nights with a $150 upgrade and experience food & beverage service after the main event’s competition concludes each evening.

The Lexington Club (new for 2023)

Our newest hospitality option brings you more great ringside seating plus on-course action for Saturday! Tickets to this hospitality tent cover Thursday, Friday, and Sunday at the stadium. On Saturday you will enjoy cross country with a special Lexington Club Member’s Only area located within the Kentucky Club. With the same great options on Saturday as the rest of the Kentucky Club, but in a private section for even more stellar service, it’s a wonderful option for the weekend-long hospitality experience.

Lexington Club tickets include admission for all four days of the event, preferred parking, and a ringside private hospitality tent that includes closed-circuit monitors showing all the action. You’ll have seating right alongside the arena with both indoor and outdoor options so you can soak in that warm Kentucky sunshine but stay out of the rain. You also have daily food and beverage service, afternoon snacks, an official event program, personalized name badge, and a Kentucky Three-Day Event logo gift to commemorate the experience.

It all sounds delightful, doesn’t it? We think so, and it would seem people agree as there’s just a handful of tickets left to this new, exclusive experience so we highly recommend you order your Lexington Club tickets now as they will sell out!

The Five Star Club (sold out for 2023)

The most exclusive way to enjoy the experience of the Kentucky Three-Day Event is without a doubt, the Five Star Club. With admission to the grounds from Thursday through Sunday, premiere parking with golf cart service from the lot to the Five Star tent, and the largest and most luxurious hospitality tent on the show grounds we understand how this already sold out! Don’t dismay – sometimes reserved tickets unexpectedly become available and should that happen, we do open them up for sale. The best way to stay in-the-know is to sign up for our email newsletter as that is where we would alert people should any Five Star tickets become available.

The Five Star Club offers both indoor and outdoor private seating alongside the ring with premium views of the competition. There are multiple closed-circuit monitors throughout the Five Star Club tent covering all of the action all weekend long, and daily gourmet food service, appetizers, concierge service, and bar and beverage service that includes specialty cocktails and champagne! We also include a personalized name badge, exclusive Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event commemorative gift along with the official event program, a relaxation lounge area, and even access to the on-course Kentucky Horse Park Foundation Cross-Country Hospitality Tent on Saturday – wow! Of course you can also stay in the Five Star Tent Friday and Saturday evenings for the Grand Prix for a small upgrade to complete your exclusive experience.

Karen Yates has never been one to follow the beaten path. A lifelong horsewoman and passionate amateur eventer, her story is one of grit, generosity, and an unwavering love for the sport. Though her introduction to eventing may not have been conventional, her contributions to the community have become nothing short of transformational. Raised on Air Force bases without the benefit of structured training, Yates’s entry into the world of eventing was entirely self-taught. “I didn’t have an instructor until I was 32,” she says—by which point she had already spent five years actively competing. Without jumping lessons or formal coaching, she would simply show up at events and learn by doing. Her survival in those early days came down to two things: the boldness she carried into the saddle and the athleticism of the horses she rode. She trained every one of them herself, driven more by determination than direction. Yates’s breakthrough came in 1993 when she first competed at the upper-levels at the Kentucky Three-Day Event. “I never schooled any cross-country at all,” she remembers. “My horses saw the course for the first time when I got there.” The experience was a defining moment. Though daunting, it was emblematic of her entire riding career—rooted in experience, experimentation, and an indomitable spirit. But as her ambitions grew, so did her awareness of the risks involved. She recalls the 1996 Olympic cycle, during which she competed with 45 pounds of lead on her horse—weight that ultimately contributed to a suspensory injury. That setback shifted her perspective. She began stepping back from the upper levels, prioritizing the safety and longevity of both her horses and herself. Even as she turned away from elite competition, her love for the sport never wavered. Instead, it found a new outlet. In 2017, Yates launched a unique initiative at Copper Top Farm: the “horse party.” Aimed at introducing newcomers to eventing, the horse party was her answer to what she saw as a troubling trend. “I was running into young people who had never ridden out of a ring,” she explains. “I thought, this is not a good way for this sport to grow.” Her horse parties were designed to be approachable and fun, offering small jumps and cross-country schooling in a low-pressure environment. It wasn’t just about teaching riders to jump—it was about giving them a taste of what makes eventing so thrilling. The concept took off. Riders of all ages and backgrounds began flocking to Copper Top Farm, not just to ride, but to become part of a welcoming, horse-loving community.
